After some time, I am very pleased to release the full video and audio of a piece captured in Melbourne in 2023. I have a history of collaboration with dancer, and dance scientist Emma Redding stretching back to 2009. The film traces Emma’s persistence in the act of training—labouring and fatiguing—interweaving fitness practice with moments of intimacy and vulnerability.

The work you will encounter here was captured spontaneously in Melbourne in 2023, and completed in 2024. The filmmaker is Andrew O’Keefe, and the accompanying original sound composition is by Mark Pollard.
