Mild Obsession w/ Gardening Leads to a Horticultural Certificate

June 2023: Athina completed a Seasonal Gardener Course at Capel Manor College. She was awarded her first horticultural certificate. An excellent award to accompany her PhD!

Athina sees gardening as a form of art. The learning seems directly related to process and design. Between 2020 and 2023 Athina worked as a volunteer gardener for the Nature Trail at Gunnersbury Park, and she also made inputs to the work at The Gullerne Gardens in Findhorn, Scotland.
